Paris Geller is one of several underrated females on Gilmore Girls, along with Sookie St. James and Emily Gilmore herself. Paris goes after what she wants even though she has a tiny bit of Aspergers-y inability to deal with social situations. She has a deeper past and family life than the show really wants to get into, which makes her actually an interesting individual, but most importantly, she uses that setback to push herself forward. I have a friend, Ella, who did this, and it’s really impressive to me.

El día de hoy me sentía mal, muy mal. Haciendo cuentas con todos mis dedos, imaginando billetes, llegué a la conclusión de que nunca podré salir de dónde estoy. Toda la vida no me alcanzará para poder hacer algo de mí.

Sin poder haberlo imaginado, mi día mejoró en solo segundos.
